Kesä muokkaa radioiden ohjelmatarjontaa aurinkoisempaan suuntaan. Aloitetaan tällä kerralla kuitenkin syyskuusta, josta löytyi Radio Ykkösen amerikkalaiseen jalkapalloon erikoistunut ohjelma Radio Vaahteraliiga. Kesäohjelmia ovat myös Rantaregee ja Rantatoiveet. Ja kesäisiä ovat niiden soittotiedoissa olevat kappaleetkin.
